DUI Accidents Claim Over 10,000 Lives Every Year
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), drinking and driving kills 28 people a day in the United States. That means that one person dies as a result of a DUI crash every 52 minutes.
At our personal injury practice, we often help victims of DUI accidents. We know the pain and suffering they go through and urge drivers to never drive under the influence.
Data shows that drivers aged 21 to 24 account for 27% of all fatal alcohol-impaired crashes while drivers aged 25 to 35 account for 25% of the total. Regardless, driving under the influence at any age is illegal and can be deadly.
Help to keep the roads in Washington State safe for you, your loved ones, and your fellow Washingtonians by being a responsible driver.
